AWOL by UK’s Rob Gee and RibbitRePublic is a hilarious buddy road trip about two men who escape a care home and go to a metal festival.

           

  Gee and Jon Paterson star as two friends, Cyril and Neville, that embark on a metal adventure.

           

  The show is broken down into acts and is interspersed with various quotes with the screen provided at The Broadway Theatre.

           

  The performers carry the show both with audience engagement but with the performances and script as well.

           

  This is a laugh out loud funny and well worth your time. The sixty minute runtime goes by at a quick pace that by the time you’re ready for the next act it’s over.
