Catch Me in the Kitchen Story Adventures by Toronto’s Catch Me in the Kitchen is a delightfully magical, fairy tale extravaganza and a wonderful introduction for children to experience a Fringe festival.

Storytellers and performers, Chantale Groulx and Stephen LeFrenie are charming, confident hosts fostering a playful atmosphere and ambience that enhance a storytelling session into an immersive adventure.

Groulx exceeds at physical performance, affectations, dialects and impersonations for each character that are easily accessible and unmistakable for both child and adult alike.

LeFrenie exudes and evokes a magical synchronicity with Groulx allowing him to both the straight man and perform as multiple characters simultaneously.

While Groulx is more of a standout as her boundless energy and creativity is on full display, the production could retain the magic it resonates without both of them as a team.

This production is a powerhouse in imagination, whimsy and fun for every child, family or adult who loves performance theatre and fairy tales.

Catch Me in the Kitchen Story Adventures is playing at The Refinery August 2-10th 2024 at the Saskatoon Fringe Festival. Tickets can be bought here, the box office on site or the venue itself.
