Super Funtimes Magic! Is an Exceptionally Crafted piece of Performance Art Theatre

Super Funtimes Magic! by Long Beach, California’s The Baggy Pants is well executed piece of performance art that evokes Mr. Bean vibes.
Mr. Bean is a character created by Rowan Atkinson. Mr. Bean rarely speaks and utilizes physical comedy, elements of clowning and miming which gestate into unpredictable but self inflicted results usually based on his stubbornness and aloofness.
The persona of The Baggy Pants is a mine, so silent throughout the performance. The facial expressions and physically he emotes as his agitation rises, curling into a scowl as he bumbles, knocking down set pieces and fumbling tricks trying to impress and gain the audience’s approval, only to shake his finger emoting his frustration at hapless audience.
This production is unique as it a hybrid of performance art, physical comedy and magic tricks that create something special and widely entertaining.
Super Funtimes Magic! is playing at The Broadway Theatre from August 2-9th 2024 at the Saskatoon Fringe Festival. Tickets can be bought online here, the box office on site or at the venue itself.
